Touching God

I have looked for a god with a long grey beard, surrounded in light
I have looked for god in robe, seeking nirvana
I even thought god might be found under a mineret
I ignored the trees, the flowers, the birds, and even people
Yet all along, god was there
God was in the least of life, the best of life, and everything in between
God is inside, you and me
