Love poem below..

Breaking Up

I let you in
You told me it was safe
I didn't want to risk it
But still you came.

It was more than I had ever given
More than I knew I had
You took it all.

You gave me little in return
Except for excuses.

Now that we have parted
You say you want me back
You say you need my love
You say we are meant to be.

Yet, my heart has spoken
You are no longer welcome
You caused me too much pain
You lost my trust.

I wish you wanted me when you had me
But now there is no going back.
