Breaking Up

I felt you was
I thought we were us
You said we were one
I believed you.

Now you say things have changed
You want to explore more
You're not happy with us.

Time should not change our bond
Yet that is all that has passed
Just time.

Your words were just words
It's my fault for trusting them
Now I must deal with it.

I am still not bitter
As I know you believed the words when you whispered them
I know you hurt too.

I am not sad because we broke up
I am happy because we met
Maybe we'll meet up again next life.
